We are looking for a Program Director to oversee San Diego 's IHOT Program (Both North and Central)

What are the minimum requirements for this position?

  • LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Lic PsyD. License must be valid and in good standing with CA BBS.
  • 4 years of management experience
  • Experience with business operations, budgets, approving payroll, writing performance evaluations, coaching notes, recruiting, interviewing, training, quality assurance, EHR
  • A big plus if you have used San Diego County Cerner EHR
  • A big plus if you have worked for a San Diego County Public Mental Health program or have experience in public mental health

What does the position entail?

  • IHOT programs typically serve people who are exhibiting signs of mental health issues but do not acknowledge their
    mental illness or may be resistant to treatment. These people may be entirely new to the mental health system and not
    current receiving any mental health treatment, or, they may have been hospitalized or been in treatment before, but have
    discontinued services. IHOT clients often have co-occurring substance use issues.
  • Program Director overseeing approx. 40 employees: Clinical Director, 4-5 Team Leads, 3-4 Clinicians, 10 Peers, 16 Case Managers, MRT, Office Coordinator, Receptionist
  • Program Director will manage and train to exceptional clinical decision making and client care. Will provide clinical supervision to all staff.
  • Manage all strategic planning activities of the Program with the primary goal of ensuring ongoing effectiveness of the Program
  • Develop and maintain a productive work relationship with State and Local agency representatives; actively participating in meeting customer needs and adapting to changing customer and community needs at all times.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Program and Stage/County Customer and partners. +
  • Work closely with Regional Director of Ops, HR Manager, Sr Finance Analyst, Regional Recruiter to ensure all contract objectives are on track month to month
