In this role, you will leverage your 4+ years’ experience supporting and partnering in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Your detail-oriented, strategic, and creative administrative professional experience will be applied as you ensure the SVP- Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and VP-Chief Professional Practice Officer are organized and effective at managing resources. You will also manage complex calendaring and special projects. You will exhibit the highest standard of professionalism and behavior that consistently expresses Telecare’s core values.

To be a success, you must be able to navigate in a fluid, fast-paced environment with many conflicting priorities. You will successfully anticipate the needs of the CMO and VP, as well as the needs of the Medical Services department.


Some of the Responsibilities:


  • Partner with the CMO and VP to ensure the right tasks are taking priority.
  • Provide support to the Medical Staff Services team as needed.
  • Review and analyze daily correspondence, telephone calls and e-mails; prepare preliminary responses based on in-depth understanding of division and Company vision, goals, objectives, established procedures and standards.
  • Manages calendar and schedule all meetings for the CMO and VP
  • Coordinate and record medical staff committee meetings and other meetings, as necessary.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks which are often confidential in nature, preparing complex correspondence including reports, policy memos and assure their accurate and professional presentation and appearance.
  • Coordinate peer review process with Regional Medical Directors and program administrators.
  • Manage travel for Medical Services leadership team.
  • Provide quality customer service to both internal and external teams.


Skills and Experience:


  • 4+ years administrative assistant experience; two of which at the executive level is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Visio, Planner and Excel
  • Experience developing presentations and graphics with Power Point.
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high degree of discretion, judgment, professionalism, and poise
  • Behavioral Health experience is highly desired.
  • Experience supporting a Physician Services Organization (PSO) is a plus

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, bend, squat, kneel, twist, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, twist, reach and to occasionally do simple grasping and driving.
