Telecare 's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals with complex needs in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams.  Telecare has over 170 programs and 4,500 employees across the country, and we are constantly growing and opening new programs.

As part of the Telecare family, the Telecare Riverside Mental Health Urgent Care will offer 24/7 voluntary treatment to adults ages 18 and above who are suffering a mental health crisis but wish to avoid a locked setting. The program will use a welcoming, home-like environment to help assess the nature of the crisis, soothe and comfort the individual, and connect them with resources to avoid future crisis. Services are recovery-oriented, and will utilize a multi-disciplinary team approach with a high level of peer-to-peer services.

What are the qualifications? (Must Have) 

  • You must be license eligible and have an ASW, ACSW, AMFT or APCC License number registered with CA BBS
  • Your license number must be valid and in good standing with CA BBS
  • A Master 's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school
  • One (1) year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness in an inpatient or outpatient setting is required

What will the job entail? 

  • Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care
  • Works with members served and multidisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and evaluate the Recovery Plan  
  • Under clinical supervision, establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with members served
  • Ensures provision of needed clinical services to assigned members served; coordinates ongoing treatment within the program and with outside agencies
  • Provides individual and group therapy
  • Documents all treatment provided in a thorough and consistent manner       
  • Collaborates with other staff in the discharge planning process and makes linkages to community services for members served
