Telecare’s Herald House is a four-bedroom home designed to serve clients who have challenging and complex needs, and would otherwise be at risk for admission to acute and locked settings or out-of-state placements. The Herald House is a Community Crisis Home, a new program model in California, created to serve residents with developmental disabilities and serious mental illness. This NEW program is schedule to open inApril 2019.

Position Summary

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will have the opportunity to work with a four-client caseload and make a true difference for your clients and their families; be on the cutting edge of new program design and contribute to the development of services in California; and you will be helping others grow their careers as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCaBAs. You will also provide consultation on best practices associated with program design, clinical services, and regulations.

The staff atHerald Houseconsists of a multidisciplinary team that will deliver a full range of person-centered services and behavioral supports to help residents successfully transition or return to their preferred community living option. The program is scheduled to openApril 2019 so we have multiple Consultant opportunities available and there is a possibility that we will hire a Full-Time BCBA .

Required Qualifications

To be a success, you must have a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a graduate degree program with a verified BACB course sequence; certified as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); experience implementing applied behavior analysis services; experience providing direction and development in a supervisory role to RBT staff or candidates; 8-hour BACB supervision course completed to qualify to complete RBT Supervision,
