Telecare and SIRUM Partner to Make Medications Available to Those in Need
Did you know that nearly 50 million Americans don’t take their prescribed medication because they can’t afford to pay for them?
With soaring copays, deductibles, and insurance costs, many people are making impossible choices between medications, food and housing, gas to get to work, and more.
A number of Telecare programs are donating unused medications to SIRUM, a non-profit organization dedicated to getting unused medications to the people who need them.
THANKS TO THESE DONATIONS, TELECARE WAS ABLE TO MAKE A HUGE IMPACT IN 2019:
49 shipments made
1,419 patients received one month of medicine
$63,959 estimated cost of medicine provided
