On June 2, the city presented the program with an official certificate of recognition for its continued commitment to serving, treating, and caring for individuals in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Part of the certificate reads, “We depend on their strength, their ability to deal compassionately with everything coming at them in this battle that is not of their choosing but one they have taken on, nonetheless, with selflessness and courage.”
The certificate was signed with honor by Mayor Peggy Lemons and fellow city leaders.
