My name is Lisa Hecker (her/hers).
I am the Administrator at Merrill Center Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). I’ve been at Telecare for 4 years.
In my view, the best part of my job is standing alongside and supporting the team in providing hope to individuals in crisis.
What makes me really proud of my team and the work we do is that we have the opportunity to change someone's life for the better by engaging them in recovery.
When I’m having a tough day, the thing that keeps me going is silly humor and laughter.
My favorite quote or personal motto is, “Extend grace to others and support them in being the best they can be.”
If I were going to describe Telecare in three words, they would be culture, hope, and recovery.
